NEED TO MAKE AN EFFORT TO CORRECT THIS. All the work that the PR committee is doing will be negated by one letter like this.  It is very important (not only morally, but politically) to keep a good name out there encase we ever need to relocate the field.  We could very easily lose it to a ball park that everyone loves.
Richard (President) adjourned the meeting at 8:07 pm.

Astute observers of the club scene will no doubt have noticed that I haven't been at the field much this summer. The past few months have been busy
with a variety of activities. These included flying the 182 to New York twice in three weeks. That trip is about eight hours which includes a fuel stop and a picnic. That is about the same time as for a commercial flight if you include plane changes and security checks. And I don't make us take our shoes off! My brothers and sisters and I have been working to get our mother into an assisted living facility and then putting her house up for sale. A long process with lots of memories found in photo collections, etc. On top of that I made the mistake of catching a good sized redfish on a fishing trip to Apalachicola. Next thing I knew I had a new boat and I was fishing out of St. Marks! I'm still not sure how this happened, but my wife loves to boat and fish. She says its her boat. Well, she also likes to fly and to camp, so I don't get too much flack over the expenses. Hmm--that's not a bad deal!

Til next time!
